SURVEYING SERVICES
 
Ruzicka Associates uses GPS (Global Positioning System) and Total Station surveying equipment along with photogrammetry to rapidly and accurately gather data. Field computers are used to collect and store electronic data. Office computers are used to process and evaluate the survey data used to performed some of the following services:
 
  • CONTROL SURVEY:
Precision location of the horizontal position and elevation of points for use in aerial topographic mapping, boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys and other applications where vertical and horizontal precision is important.
   
  • BOUNDARY SURVEY:
A survey for the purpose of locating and setting corner monuments for a parcel of land or right-of-way.
   
  • TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY:
A survey for locating topographic features such as the contours of land, buildings, trees, fences, streams, etc. to be used for the design of site improvements.
   
  • SUBDIVISION SURVEY:
A survey to divide a tract of land into smaller parcels including the preparation of a Subdivision and placement of boundary monuments.
   
  • CONSTRUCTION SURVEY:
A survey for the layout and staking of vertical and horizontal control for the construction of site improvements, roads, buildings, pipelines, utilities, etc.
   
  • ALTA SURVEY:
A field survey performed for the purpose of preparing a boundary map together with the planametric data of existing improvements and utilities necessary for a Title Company to issue an American Land Title Association Extended Coverage Title Insurance Policy.
